About

The Alliance of Finance Educators (AoFE) is a network of tertiary educators dedicated to promoting excellence in finance education for the benefit of students, educators and industry practitioners.

The field of finance is continuously evolving, driven by the dynamic interplay between financial markets, regulatory frameworks, and societal expectations. In recent decades, the pace of change in finance has accelerated due to advancements in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Fintech as well as integration of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors into financial decision making. To empower finance academics in embracing these developments, we strive to establish a vibrant, collaborative network of passionate professionals.

The Department of Finance at the University of Melbourne is an enthusiastic supporter of the Alliance of Finance Educators (AoFE). The AoFE's mission in promoting excellence in finance education practice while providing a vibrant and engaging research-led community of practice provides an exciting opportunity for all member universities to contribute to a "rising tide" in the quality of finance education at the tertiary level.
